We asked New Yorkers to help communicate why it is so important to wear a mask to stop the spread of coronavirus.

We collected more than 600 submissions from New Yorkers across the state as part of the "Wear a Mask New York Ad Contest" and had New Yorkers vote on five finalist videos. Thank you to everyone who voted, and there were 186,000 votes cast in the contest.

New York will be using the 1st and 2nd place ads for public service announcements.
